What would you wear with this coat? (Pic included)?

Hello. I just got this coat. It fits really comfortably. The colors in person are red, brown, orange and tan. The buttons and the flower trim are black velvet. I thought the coat had a sort of vintage look. Does it matter what you wear underneath this coat? Does your outfit have to match the color of your coat? Can this coat be worn casually?

I also have a pair of enzo angiolini pointed toe pumps that are wine red suede. They also have dark bronze metallic trim. I cannot provide a picture of these. What would you recommend wearing these with? Can they be worn casually?
